So, I've lived here in Birmingham about a year now and I am trying to meet people and find things to do. I am not an adventurous person and I would like someone to help bring me out of my shell. I'm looking to meet honest humorous intelligent people who have a simularly conservative idea of fun. I like to write, paint and shop. I am a great cook, or so everyone at work tells me. I am a professional career woman. I have a bachelors in health care administration and I work for Social Security as a disability specialist. I love the idea of living here in the city but I haven't gotten up the nerve to venture out enough on my own to really take advantage of everything there is out there. I was raised in a small town in the country and I have a strong Christian faith. I am a little bit of a redneck sometimes but I try to stay away from it, I am a history buff and I mostly write about times past. I'm a little bit of a nerd and love video games and lurking around on the internet message boards. I'm looking to meet people: to talk online, to hang out with, possibly to date.
