Geeky Girl in search of her Time Lord I detest writing these things. It is much better to get to know someone through conversation than just a blurb of text in a profile, in my opinion.


I prefer to call myself a geek rather than a nerd. I love sci-fi but I'm by no means an expert. I tend to dabble in the universes of The X-Files, Doctor Who, and Sherlock, though I'd rather read a book (or manga or comic) or play video games than watch television. I -do- make exceptions for anime and horror films, however. And, of course, The Lord of the Rings trilogy.


Along with sci-fi and fantasy, I'm also addicted to music, especially symphonic metal, dark ambient, industrial, synth-rock, instrumental, down-tempo, trance, trip-hop, pretty much any ambient that features strings, and Japanese pop and metal.
