Hi there, random internet stranger! I'm just your average polysexual transgender mathematician. If that combination bothers you, at least you've been warned and can leave now and save yourself the trouble of reading the rest of my rambling profile.

The two biggest forces in my life at this point are probably politics and video games. The former is my tie to the real world, and the latter is my way of compensating for the fact that the former can be really depressing at times.

I'm a progressive, so conservatives and moderates (by American standards) need not apply. I'd just get on your nerves anyway. I only recently registered as a Democrat in preparation for the 2016 election (I want to support the best non-Clinton candidate), in general the Democrats tend to annoy me and just be the lesser of two evils (I have yet to vote for a Democrat for president or senate).

Video games-wise, I'm mostly a PC gamer, with my 3DS picking up the slack. I play most genres, but I prefer RPGs and strategy games, and generally won't play a non-Mario sports/racing game. I'd list what I'm currently playing but that changes too often so I'm sure it would be inaccurate. Though if you like Paradox or Obsidian as developers, we at least have the one talking point.

As for my definition of a nerd? Anyone who willingly identifies as one. No one has the right to exclude someone from the group, and considering a lot of people would still take it as an insult I don't think people would adopt it falsely anyway.

My s----lity can be a bit complicated, but the best way for me to put it is that if you identify as wholly male either all of the time or in part (i.e. you're a guy or bigender), we probably aren't emotionally compatible.

I shouldn't have to say this at this point, but I'm a feminist, and if you aren't, what is wrong with you?
