Hi I'm feeling extra nerdy today and felt like posting something here to entice other nerds.
So after watching another youtube clip of Neil Degrasse Tyson, I'm really looking forward to the new Cosmos series, though have to wait until next year.
What nerdy craving have you?

`Only one?
Hmm... if I had to choose one nerdy interest at this moment, it would be geology. I love hunting for agates at the beach. Most people go to the beach to get a tan or go swimming, maybe have a picnic, I'm walking the shoreline looking for rocks. lol

`I had to google both agates and epigenetics! Interesting nonetheless
My nerdiness today is fascination for these led hoops/poi.

`collecting books by particular authors is probably my biggest nerd thing. I have 45 historical fictions books by one author where for a while I could only find his books in Borders and Barnes and Noble. I think i have most of his best sellers now lol

`I like to spew mathematics while baked on pot. When I was a young man I would sometimes do this without a shirt so the ladies could adore my masculine beauty while I was nerding out. When she gushed about what a beautiful man I am, I pretended that she was complimenting my mathematical genius. I graciously offered an open invitation to always visit for further discussions (monologs, actually) on splitting fields and Galois Theory.

`Thoughts that are entirely too deep regarding matters too trivial to deserve such thought. It's not really a craving, though. I simply don't have a choice. I guess this would be called chronic overanalysis.

I can't decide between memorizing the dialogue from the Empire Strikes Back, making MySQL databases and related tables for any type of random data that I am interested in keeping track of, setting up a Linux computer as a router/gateway, playing with LAMP, or building an 8088-based homebrew computer. I can't possibly choose one. Don't do this to me! lol

Hard to narrow it down...
Right now, the first thing to pop into my head is comic books. Since I read 'em regularly, attempt to script 'em, sleep with them next to my bed, and half the shirts in my closet are decorated with comic book superheroes (while the other half is Star Wars and miscellaneous).
