`I think it has to do with the inverse relationship between nerdy and being outgoing. In an environment where people of the opposite S-- might be "judging" you, an awkward person isn't going to open up first, I guess.

Now, me... I can talk. (...and how!) Some might even say I'm so full of sh*t it's the sole reason my eyes are brown and I don't tip over when walk with a swagger (as the weight keeps me balanced).

Thus, I might not be quite as nerdy as some around here... and believe me, I'm so disappointed to see how quiet this place is.

As a guy... running a general search turns up results chock-full of attractive/cute/smart/interesting girls... who haven't logged in for 3 months, or never _ever_ say a word. These forums are a wasteland. It's a total shame. As a general percentage, I'd have to say about 90% of the girls (who aren't wearing sunglasses, hoods, shooting the pictures from impossible-to-see angles, or otherwise obscuring their faces) are total cuties.

...and they are on a nerd dating forum.

...and they don't wanna talk, even anonymously.

It's torture, I tells ya.
