`[Late post -.-] 70 lock on Argent dawn, s---loads of alts, mainly between low 30's to mid 40's; playing a mage on spinebreaker atm; i do miss old pre bc, but mostly cause all my friends were still playing back then.
i'll probably call it quits after a while of playing wotlk

Playin a 'lock on azuremist (or azuremyst i can never remember) lvl 29 named Thaebia. Quit for the longest time and just recently got back into it because all my friends play.

I play a bit of both. The highest I've gotten a Alliance character is 40. My Highest Horde character is a lvl 80 Warlock. Both on the Dragonblight sever for now.
I think I just like the more creepy and dark feel when playing the Horde. If I didn't have real life friends playing Alliance I'd probably would have stuck to Horde. I think it's funny that people say Horde seems immature. I found that when playing horde people were just quite for the most part. Sure there was the occasional idiot but that's unavoidable. When ever I played Alliance it was practically non stop. It could just depend on the server I suppose. When it comes down to it it's a MMORPG. If you don't want to deal with immature people you should just be playing Offline solitary games. Heh*

`I think you only get the true faction vs. faction experience if you're playing on a PVP server. Anyone who hasn't will never know the horrors of trying to level in STV or how much Hellfire Peninsula sucked when BC was first released.

I started out on a PVE server as Alliance (NE Hunter, obligatory noob roll) and was all about being that friendly player that helps out everyone regardless of faction. However, my friends that played did so as Horde on a pvp server so I went and created a character on that server to play with them and grew to hate Alliance players...and people.

My toon was a prot warrior back when prot warriors didn't have any offense so it sucked leveling. Eventually I also created a holy pally which made leveling a bit more bearable because I could just bubble-hearth if I got attacked. Then I rolled a rogue so that if I got ganked, I'd just gank back, lol.

Wish I still played.

Statistically, based on all the people I talked to while playing, I think Alliance definitely had more female players and overall nicer players. Horde had wayyyyy more stoners and overall better players, imo. And I hate to admit it but I'd say there are more under 18 players on the Horde side.

TBH, I play both. I've got 80s of Horde and Alliance, but my heart is with the Horde.

Currently I'm leveling a rogue on Darkspear, all recruit-a-friend style, for the extra XP.

I agree about the PVP server making the difference between how people see factions. I "grew up" on Moon Guard, an RP-PVE realm. While the RP certainly added a faction-loyalty, it's nothing compared to what I've seen while leveling this toon on Darkspear. Getting ganked, and then ganking in return...mmmmyup.

I've got an 80 Ret/Holy Paladin (Human) and a Resto/Ele Shaman (Dranei). Ele is for PvP.
Paladin is realllly close to Kingslayer. Moonguard.

I'm working on a rogue and warlock now, but I want to level a gnome priest for Cata!

Except everyone tells me Alliance is not cool.

I love playing WoW, I play on the Alliance side, not sure why. Horde just doesnt appeal to me. That could just be becuase with the exception of blood elves, I dont really like the races. I cant wait for Cata to come out and will probably be starting a new character on that as well as lvl my current ones.

i started out alliance 6 years ago and played a human mage for a year and a half, but there seemed to be too many extremely childish ppl, that and my guild leader booted me cuz i coulnt always raid even though he knew i worked nights..... so i went horde and made an undead warlock who i still play today, i have had a much more favorable playing experience since i changed factions... sure u still the the really childish ppl, but far less than alli.... and i cant wait til cata... i heard they were making deadmines a heroic, and molten core... 2 of my favs from vanilla wow
