So What Make you a nerd

Collects TV series on DVD:

I have the complete series/up to the current season of Smallville, Gilmore Girls, Angel, Buffy, Fire Fly, and Friends on DVD

I play video game but i've mainly just been playing World of Warcraft.

I LOVE rpgs

I hate sports other then bowling and watching liverpool kick arse in soccer

I collect Teen Titans comics

I LOVE Anime/Manga. I'm currently watching "Guin Saga"

I love playing cardgames/miniature games and have played/collected/have decks for over 30 different collectible cardgames

`i guess im a a nerd for being a hugeBatman & DC fan raised on it as a kid,collecting still original transformers & still in their box & having all the seasons & movies on dvd as well,have all the major consloes 360 & ps3 currently im waitng for 11/10/09 which will be the day i disappear for months cause of Modern Warefare 2,also i love the harry potter movies not the books sorry i dont have a huge attention span for me to read words there is alot more but i feel like im ranting so i end rant here

3. I have a friend or two who will come to me when they want to find something online, (I personally think they could've found it themselves if they tried though)
4. Play video games, and a pretty good video game historian (atari wasn't the first system, just the first successful)
5. love scifi stuff
6. really good in math
7. when I have money I try to get the gundam model kits and build them, (I am waiting for the 1/100 HG models of the 00 team fully upgraded)

7. I love warhammer 40,000 especially the "specialist games" like Epic Armageddon, Battlefleet Gothic ect. My favourite is of course RAFM's Call of Cthulhu game....I bought way too many of those Flying Polyp figures..

-I've spent entire shifts at work do pre-planning for future planning for the roleplaing games I plan on running
-Favorite musician? Jonathan Coulton. Close second, Carl Sagan (Symphony of Science remixes)
-Bought a PSP so that I could have a portable Gameboy, SNES and Sega
-Bought a Wii so that I could play the new Mario and compare it to the classic
-Watched Heroes until it died, the entire time realizing the show sucked, but just couldn't wait to see somebody get a costume
-Cried through the remaining 20 minutes of Wrath of Khan

That should be a good clue. I haven't updated it in months.

-I know who Matthew Swift is (This is serious...) and I can't get enough of him.

-I know what "LF RDPS 10DS 6/8 ilvl 380+" means.

-I actually took the time to learn the back-stories of Nasus and Renekton.

-I spent an hour last night talking about how Skyrim should have some sort of persistent-world multiplayer.

-I play MineCraft to get inspiration for locations in my writing.

-I write.

-I actually enjoy sitting in a car filled with nerdy men who have matching My Little Pony hats, talking about Yugioh card effects, while listening to Zelda dubstep and Epica.

I'm a 26 year old girl, but my room looks like it belongs to a 10 year old boy from the 80s (Pac-Man, Ninja Turtles, Batman, Transformers, that kind of stuff everywhere). I even have a wall completely covered in Super Mario wall graphics.

I collect old 80s and 90s toys like Micro Machines and action figures.

I don't watch much tv, but what I do watch I become obsessed with and have to know everything about it, especially weird comedies.

I've actually gone out "zombie huntin" in army gear with air soft guns all night with my friends (and keep in mind this was in my twenties, but we were just messing around).

`Oh man oh man, what DOESN'T make me a nerd is a better question...

1. My room looks like the 80's, Anime, and Nintendo all had a fight over territory and set up political borders.
2. I've been playing Dungeons and dragons since I was 14, and of course the only edition I really play is 2nd (because it's just that damn cool).
3. I actually collect old video game consoles, along with video games for said consoles. Trust me, nothing quite like getting home at 3am just to play a little atari (berserk is the best).
4. I find overthinking any situation to be extremely fun; especially when I use the powers of my imagination and create little scenarios of how the situations variables would change depending on my reaction.
5. Every tv show that is regarded as "for the nerdy crowd" is extremely entertaining. I just started getting into Dr.Who, but with 200gbs to get through it's going to be a long road.
6. I work as an IT guy.
7. I read manga, the series genshiken is one of my favs.
8. I enjoy building multiple Gundam models which are all on display.

`I know I am a nerd because of my habits. I read to the point of losing touch of reality (no, seriously--some of my reads include "War and Peace," the entire KJV of the bible, and "Great Expectations"), I write science fiction, read fan faction, spend way too much time on the internet, write poetry, am trying to teach myself spanish, push my glasses up my nose all the time (it's a nervous tic), and am really socially inept. Oh, yeah, and I hate sports, despite the fact that I did two years of a sport in high school in an attempt to be well-rounded enough for the top universities.
