Beethoven is excellent in this regard.

Me too! It was playing at work and I totally couldn't focus until the song ended. So Sick by Neyo gets to me too, so sad.

`I typically go for "Hurt" (Johnny Cash version), "No One's Gonna Love You" by Band of Horses, "You Are The Only One I Love" by Jaymay, and lots of Death Cab, Bright Eyes and Joy Division...

Songs that kill me:
Ludo's "Morning in May"
Dresden Dolls: "Truce" "First ------" "Glass Slipper" "Boston" "Delilah" and "Me and the Minibar"
As you can tell, DD is the band that strengthens my sad moods, but to pick me back up again after a break up that angers me, I listen to their "Good Day."
All amazing songs!!

`"set the fire to the third bar"- snow patrol & Martha wainwright. Also anything by the script, it's like they are reminding me of the story of my life.

I listen to sad songs for only a short time but then I start getting angry and listen to such songs as:
- Papa Roach - Scars
- Sick Puppies - Going Down
- Korn - Thoughtless
- Disturbed - 10,000 Fists
- Puddle of Mudd - Blurry
- Tape - Falling
These are just some of the songs I listen to.
